As a constantly on-the-move musician, I wanted a mouthpiece pouch that looked sleek and elegant, but still protected my mouthpiece! This pouch is made with three layers of cotton quilt batting and two layers of cotton flannel, providing a soft non-scratch surface for the mouthpiece to rest. These layers are enveloped by 2mm thick leather, giving the pouch enough support and strength for me to feel comfortable putting it in my case or bag and taking it with me.
Made with Chrome-Tanned leather, this pouch is naturally water resistant. The leather is Second-Run, meaning it has personal character, so each piece will be unique. There might be some minor cosmetic defects that tanneries reject for their imperfection. We use this leather as it is still of high quality, but not often chosen by designer brands due to those cosmetic defects- we like the character!
Sizes: I designed these to fit my current needs (tuba and euphonium), but will expand to all brass instruments soon! My friends tested these pouches and all variants of mouthpieces that I’ve come across in person fit. For reference, I currently use a PT88 in the Large, and it fits just fine!
The medium is designed to fit most euphonium and trombone mouthpieces.
The large is designed to fit most tuba mouthpieces.
