Made with Chrome-Tanned leather, the hand loop is naturally water resistant. The leather is Second-Run, meaning it has personal character, so each piece will be unique. There might be some minor cosmetic defects that tanneries reject for their imperfection. We use this leather as it is still of high quality, but not often chosen by designer brands due to those cosmetic defects- we like the character!
